Course Description
In this course, we begin by squeezing in a brief look at more than 3000 years of yoga history and theory before getting into modern practicalities like choosing a yoga mat and demystifying some of the equipment you may have seen lurking at the back of your yoga studio. After exploring more than 30 styles of yoga, we'll focus in on 3 basic but essential elements of yoga: breathing, meditation, and asanas (poses).
